Ackrighthands began as more than just a concept; it was born from a deep-seated passion, unwavering perseverance, and a commitment to enhancing basketball training for players at every level.
How It all Started
I created this product to share everything I’ve learned through years of playing professional basketball and mentoring others. It’s built on the same dedication, experience, and deep love for the game that helped me master its fundamentals.
The name Ackright goes all the way back to my high school days. Coaches and teammates started calling me that because of my shooting, ball-handling, and ability to make the right play when it mattered most. It was a nickname that stuck—not just because it played off my last name, but because it came to represent my mindset: always aiming for excellence and pushing to elevate the game, both for myself and the people around me.
I've been blessed with an incredible journey—from playing in the NBA to competing overseas, and now mentoring the next generation of athletes. Every step has deepened my understanding of the game and fueled my passion to give back. That’s what Ackrighthands is all about. It’s a reflection of my lifelong commitment to basketball and my mission to help players reach their full potential—on the court and in life.
